I find joy in the small things

As an ant scuttles across a leaf, intent on performing its next task, it feels an innate sense of joy.

I observe this joy for a moment, and I have a better understanding of the ant, and of myself.

I choose to find joy in the tiny moments of life.

I understand that while life can be large, busy, chaotic, and messy, and that this can be wonderful, everything must exist in balance.

I see that there is joy to be found in the smallest, most insignificant actions, tasks, and creatures.

Joy is all around me, and is part of everything I am.

I make it my mission to discover the joy that is all around me. I know that it is there, waiting, and that I only need to look.

I feel the sensation of the wind against my skin and the heat of the sun as it gently strokes my face. I appreciate the cool sting of a raindrop and marvel at the beauty of a snowy landscape.

I choose to find joy in the smallest moments of life. I understand that this is the path to true contentment and happiness.

Today, I choose to find joy and wonder in the smaller parts of life. I know that there is always joy, hope and beauty to be found, and I make it my mission to embrace these qualities with every possible opportunity.
