Google launches Flutter 2.0 to target developers across all platforms
[https://venturebeat.com/
Google has unveiled version 2.0 of Flutter, its open source UI development kit that helps app makers build cross-platform software from the same codebase. While the upgrade ushers in a spread of new features, today’s launch event was perhaps mostly designed to highlight Flutter’s continued transition beyond mobile to support apps wherever they reside — the web, desktop, and even emerging form factors such as foldables.
As the blockchain economy continues to grow, new projects are emerging and working to make their mark in the space. With the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies recently surpassing $1.5 trillion, there is a lot of room within the industry to grow. One example is the decentralized finance (DeFi) movement, which emerged into the mainstream eye in 2020 and grew to over $50 billion in market cap. This recent run has proven that the market will reward innovative and functional blockchain technology projects, which promise disruption.
Below we will identify 10 of the most groundbreaking blockchain projects and applications currently launching and scaling, with some positioning themselves to be the cornerstone of a new generation of digital asset heavyweights.
It’s March 2021 and in about another month the Hubble Space Telescope will celebrate 31 years in space observing the universe.
In this image celebrating Hubble’s 30th birthday, the giant red nebula (NGC 2014) and its smaller blue neighbor (NGC 2020) are part of a vast star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, located 163,000 light-years away. The image is nicknamed the “Cosmic Reef,” because NGC 2014 resembles part of a coral reef floating in a vast sea of stars. Some of the stars in NGC 2014 are monsters. The nebula’s sparkling centerpiece is a grouping of bright, hefty stars, each 10 to 20 times more massive than our Sun. The seemingly isolated blue nebula at lower left (NGC 2020) has been created by a solitary mammoth star 200,000 times brighter than our Sun. The blue gas was ejected by the star through a series of eruptive events during which it lost part of its outer envelope of material.
